Bill 168 Workplace Violence & Harassment an act to amend the Occupational Health & Safety Act comes into force today - Tuesday June 15th, 2010. The new legislation requires employers to conduct a workplace violence risk assessment, prepare written policies with respect to workplace violence and harassment, prepare and maintain a violence and harassment prevention program and provide training to workers on the policies and programs.
